Golden Puccoon and Fire Benefits
Golden Puccoon (Lithospermum caroliniense) is a showy rare species found only at this site in Virginia. Discussion will focus on its rarity and management implications including prescribed fire to benefit this and other rare species at this Preserve.
There is no parking lot, but you may park along the dirt road (Chub Sandhill Trail) off of Peters Bridge Road.

- Traverse forest without trails and unpaved and uneven trails.
