De acuerdo con el Código de Virginia, el Departamento de Conservación y Recreación de Virginia está preparando un plan maestro para el Parque Estatal High Bridge Trail. El propósito de un plan maestro es guiar la gestión y el desarrollo de un parque mediante la identificación de los recursos naturales, culturales y físicos, así como la identificación de las necesidades del parque y la participación del público.
The Department of Conservation and Recreation hosted a public information meeting on October 6, 2025, at the Town Council Meeting Room in Farmville, Virginia.
The purpose of the meeting was to obtain feedback on the preliminary recommendations of the proposed master plan, including the park ’s mission statement, interpretive themes, goals and objectives, and recommendations for new and improved recreational facilities. At the end of the meeting, the public had an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on the proposed development plan.
