Think opossums are just pesky critters? Think again! These misunderstood mammals play an important role in keeping ecosystems healthy, and they have some surprising superpowers. Join us for a fun, hands-on program where we’ll uncover fascinating facts about opossums, from their role as nature’s clean-up crew to their unique ability to fight disease. Then, let your creativity shine as you make your very own opossum puppet to take home! This easy craft is perfect for kids and families, and it’s a great way to remember what you’ve learned about one of nature’s most resilient species.

Please meet at the Visitor Center. All materials provided. Suitable for all ages. Wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather and bring a water bottle with you. Parks are for everyone, please let us know if you need special accommodation.
