Join us for an introductory fly-fishing program designed to teach you all the basics you need to start catching fish on a fly. This hands-on session is open to participants ages 12 and up. Please note that anyone 16 or older must have a valid Virginia Freshwater Fishing License to participate. The program involves wading in water up to two feet deep, so closed-toe shoes are required for safety. We recommend wearing swim shorts or pants. Waders are not provided and generally not recommended. Fishing equipment will be supplied. This program is not suitable for individuals with mobility challenges, as participants must be able to walk up and down stairs and navigate uneven riverbeds.
