Why go shopping while nature is popping? Spend Black Friday on a ranger-led Discovery Walk to stretch your holiday legs and witness the beginning of winter in the forest. The walk will be about one and a half miles over fairly moderate terrain with some short steeper inclines. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

If you have any mobility or accesses concerns, please contact bcguide@dcr.virginia.gov before attending the program so staff can provide accommodation.
