Caterpillar Club

Así como las orugas crecen y cambian, nuestros programas del Club de Orugas están diseñados para ayudar a su pequeño a crecer y cambiar. Cada semana, lo tendremos a usted y a su(s) hijo(s) explorando nuestro mundo natural a través de una variedad de actividades prácticas apropiadas para la temporada que fomentarán el sentido innato de asombro y curiosidad de los niños. Estas experiencias se miden hacia la primera infancia (3a5 años), pero, por supuesto, todos los miembros de la familia son bienvenidos y se les anima a participar. Todos los programas apoyan a Virginia's Blocks for Early Learning.

Please dress for the weather. We are meeting at Shelter 1. It is the shelter next to the playground by the Aquatics Complex.

April 4 - Eclipse Party: There is a partial eclipse on April 8th! Prepare with the rangers to safely view the eclipse and to learn why it is happening.
April 11 - Animal Jamboree: Spring is here, and the rangers are getting antsy. Let's move and dance like the animals at the park to see if we could live like them.
April 18 - Earth Day Art: Earth Day is April 22nd, so let's make some crafts out of recycled materials to celebrate our favorite day of the year.
April 25 - Nature Journaling: Bring your own journal, or grab one from the rangers, as we hike down Powhatan Trail to document what we see.
